Indoor Soccer Guidelines

1. FOULING PLAYERS --  if the player that fell claims he was fouled, we should believe him and give him the ball and give him a helping hand up. We are all friends and must promote a sense of fraternity throughout these activities. Sliding is forbidden in our matches.
2. SIDE-THROW OUTSIDE THE AREA -- Per the indoor soccer conventional rules, the ball cannot be thrown inside the box.
3. ADMISSION FEE. Every member that wishes to play must pay $2.50 to the Receptionist of the facility.
4. TEN-MINUTES MAX -- After 10 minutes a coin should be tossed to elect a winner if neither team has scored. If 2 teams are waiting on the sidelines, both teams go out, and the two new teams go in. 
5.  HANDBALL IN THE NET -- "Handball in the net" should automatically be a goal whether the handball was done accidentally or on purpose. Less scrupulous defenders will at times touch the ball on purpose then argue that it was accidental and force a penalty to be taken when in reality they deliberately robbed the opposition of a legitimate goal. A lot of time is wasted argueing whether a player should be forgiven because "he did not know". If the player claims, "he didn't know", we just say, "Well, now you do" and enforce the rule without further delay. 
6.  PLAYERS ARRIVING LATE - Players arriving late CANNOT undo the existing teams to make a team of their own. For instance, if there are 4 existing teams and 3 skilled players arrive late, they must each split up and go as substitutes in each of the existing teams. For example, if Joe, Bill and Larry arrive late and there are three teams, Joe must join Team A, Bill must join Team B and Larry must join Team C. 
7. SHARING OF SUBSTITUTES -- Under no circumstances must there be one team with 2 substitutes while another team has no substitutes. Each team must share the load of substitutes. For example, if Joe, Bill and Larry arrive late and there are three teams, Joe must join Team A, Bill must join Team B and Larry must join Team C. 
8. PLAYERS BUTTING IN ON THE LAST MATCH - If it has been announced that the last match is about to take place, team players not part of that team cannot butt in to play at the expense at leaving legitimate members of that team on the benches.
